Dating Do’s and Don’ts (1949) Part 1
This social guidance "how-to" film has received far more camp accolades than any other, and deserves it. Alan Woodruff ("Woody") receives a ticket to admit a release couple to the upcoming Hi-Teen Carnival. "1 couple," Woody reflects. "That indicates a date! Not be fond of solely going accurate to with the crowd!" Woody decides to question Ann Davis, who, the narrator points out, "understands how to be inflicted with a brilliant calculate." With her perpetual squint and chipmunk cheeks, Ann (pronounced "Ay-yun" by the actors in this film) is the ideal companion for super-nerd Woody. At critical moments in the date, the narrator stops the action and presents Woody with loads of possible options for his actions. Happily, Woody tends to make all the appropriate decisions and ends up walking family from Ann's step whistling with satisfaction at a job effectively accomplished. "Thanks so much," says Ann with a toothy beam. "I had LOADS of fun." Classic Circlet! Rare (but shared) Kodachrome version.

Janet always acts so stuck-up. What a bitch. Betty on the other hand, has an inferiority complex. She’d place out and believe lucky to get laid, but it wouldn’t be as fun. Anne, but, has LOTS of practice dating, and building boys believe comfortable. Open fire on do solely fine, and it’ll be simpler than Woody thinks to question her out. Mom doesn’t consent, even though Anne’s a nice girl (hussy), which makes Anne all the more appealing to Woody.

I’d produce nearly whatever business to see films and shows of this sort back on TV compared to the filth begotten ill that we see on screen now. Get it up to alacrity diversity sensible, and I bet a lot of excellent would occur from it….
